The campaign
Some things are easier to say to people who have been there. Listening Rooms are small, closed circles where survivors can talk — or simply sit and listen — without being asked to explain, justify or prove anything.
Each room has one rule, carried over from the very first circle we ever ran: whatever is said here does not leave here. A trained facilitator holds that line, and keeps the room steady when it needs to be.
We keep the groups small on purpose. When a room fills up, we start a new one rather than let it grow — because a circle stops being safe the moment it stops feeling like one.
