The campaign
Everyone knows the stretch of road they would rather not walk alone. The broken streetlight, the blind corner, the long gap with nowhere to turn. Almost nobody writes it down.
The Safe Streets Audit changes that. Volunteers walk their own neighbourhoods after dark, in groups, and map exactly what makes each stretch feel unsafe — street by street, light by light.
Then the findings go to the local bodies that can actually fix them, with a clear list, clear locations, and names attached. We follow up until something changes, and we publish what did and did not.
